JAMK University of Applied Sciences

JAMK University of Applied Sciences is a dynamic and internationally
oriented university. We are a strong developer in the Jyväskylä region and in
Central Finland. Each year about 600 exchange students are studying in JAMK.

JAMK University of Applied Sciences attracts exchange students for example from the following countries:
The cultural sector: France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands and Slovenia
Tourism, catering and domestic services: Spain, the Netherlands and France
Social services, health and sport: Russia, Taiwan, the Netherlands and Germany
Technology, communication and transport: Germany, France and Poland
Social sciences, business and administration: Spain, France, Korea and Czech Republic.

JAMK University of Applied Sciences has six Bachelor's Degree programs and two higher education programs conducted in English. Please find more information here. About half of the students in these programs are foreigners. Some of them are studying the whole degree in Finland. Some of them spend a shorter period in Finland, either practicing or studying. In 2008, 47 foreign students of JAMK University of Applied Sciences did their practical training in Finland. The aim is that more and more students would intern in Finland.
